Rahul Vinod Upputuri is a Technical Architect in the HealthTech industry with over 9 years of relevant experience. He is currently the Head of Architecture at Apollo, where he is engineering technology that leverages the Digital Footprint of Human Data to take smarter, proactive decisions for better management of lifestyle diseases. Rahul began his career as a developer at Capgemini, where he learned how to use data and technology to solve diverse sets of challenges. He then went on to work as a Big Data Analyst at Tracxn, where he gained valuable experience in creating value out of data. Rahul co-founded vitacloud, a company that was later acquired by Apollo. At vitacloud, he developed a digital therapeutic program based on behavioral sciences and conversational bots. He also engineered an IoMT platform connecting wearables, fitness and medical devices, mobile sensors, and diagnostic labs. Additionally, he created a remote monitoring solution for healthcare providers and patients, which included Android, iOS, and web apps. For his work at vitacloud, Rahul was recognized as part of NetApp's accelerator and was included in YourStory Tech30 2017. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. His tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, Big Data, Android, iOS, Mobile, Web, infra, and Research Scientist. With around 64 million people in India suffering from one or other chronic condition, Rahul is passionate about leveraging technology to improve healthcare outcomes. He has a proven track record of developing innovative solutions that make a difference in people's lives.
